PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
November 21, 2005
7:45 p.m.
SOUTH WINDSOR COUNCIL CHAMBERS
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on a Proposed Ordinance to Waive Interest on Property Tax due for any South Windsor Real Property-Owner Whose Spouse is on Active Duty in Iraq and Who, Further, is Serving in the Middle East
Mayor Streeter called the Public Hearing at 7:45 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately five (5) people present in audience.
Mayor Streeter asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak on this proposal. There was no one. Continuing, Mayor Streeter again stated that, as was the custom, he would now take take a straw vote on the proposal.
All those in favor of the proposed Ordinance To
waive interest on property tax to any South Windsor
real property owner whose spouse is on active duty
in Iraq and who is, further, serving In the Middle East - 2
All those opposed - 0
The Public Hearing was closed at 7:48. p.m.
